What is Vape Cotton?

Vape cotton is the small pieces of unbleached, tasteless cotton wool that surrounds the coil in your e-cig’s atomiser. We know that when you inhale on your vape, heat is sent to your coils, but this heat is then transferred to this organic cotton that has been saturated in e-liquid, producing the vapour that you inhale through the device’s drip tip.

The utmost care has been taken to ensure that wicks are chlorine-free, chemical-free, and pesticide-free, so that you can enjoy a vaping experience that is as safe as it is satisfying.

In the early days of vaping, all vape wicks were silica wicks, but in more recent times, these are being seen less and less as they are not the fastest at absorbing e-liquid. Also, they have been known to create dry hits. For those yet to experience a dry hit, it is an unpleasant burnt taste. Rest assured, if you don’t know what it is, you may want to keep it that way!

Nowadays, you are more likely to find cotton wicks in a variety of different specifications, including organic cotton, more specific Japanese organic cotton, and many more.
